It has been brought to our attention that there is a scam phone call going around in which the caller portrays themselves as the chief of police. 

The caller identifies using the police chief's name, Gerald T Cocozza.

The caller attempts to make the recipient feel assured that they are safe to provide the information they are requesting.

Please do not entertain these types of calls.

The Town of Marlborough Police and or its chief, will not call and ask for your personal information (such as banking, social security, and so on) 

If you receive a call of this nature, hang up, do not provide any of this information.
